CUDDLE COT DONATION
This Cuddle Cot was donated in honor of the children of "Family Group Five",
to Mountainside Medical Center in Glen Ridge, NJ
Family Group Five honors:
CALEB NATHAN SCAFE
Caleb, son of Jessica and Omar, unexpectedly passed away on September 12, 2019, two days before he was due, and he was born the next day. Jessica and Omar would have loved to have more time with Caleb, but found this not to be possible due to a lack of a Cuddle Cot at their hospital. A few more hours would have been a wonderful opportunity to have. They are comforted knowing that with the help of the family and friends who donated, they are able to provide this opportunity to other families who may go through the same devastating experience.
ZAYDEN ADRIAN O’TOOLE BELTON
Zayden, Jess and Aundrae’s first child, passed unexpectedly and inexplicably at 35 weeks on September 14th, 2019. He was born 2 days later, and met with love by his parents, grandmother, aunts, and great aunt.
Jess and Aundrae’s biggest regret on the day they met and said goodbye to their son, was not having enough time with him. Their hospital didn’t have a cuddle cot. While no amount of time is enough, they would have liked a few more hours with Zayden. They are so grateful to their donors who helped them achieve their goal of giving back precious hours to grieving parents at their hospital.

EZRA ANDREW OSTRAWSKI
Ezra was born with a “fatal” condition known as Bilateral Renal Agenesis. Due to experimental amnioinfusions, Ezra was born with functional lungs and was placed on dialysis at a week old. After two surgeries, Ezra’s dialysis catheter was still leaking. Without dialysis, Ezra could not survive. He passed away in his mommy’s arms the day before his one month birthday. We got to spend 5 wonderful hours holding our sweet boy until we were asked to give him up. I decided to raise money to donate a cuddle cot so that other families would get to spend as much time as they wanted and needed with their precious babies. “You were handpicked for Paradise...”
